Worldwide pollution is on the rise again

Worldwide pollution due to carbon dioxide emissions is back on the rise. It’s the first time in four years the numbers have risen and it coincides with the rebound of the Chinese economy. China, the U.S. and India account for 70 per cent of all coal consumption. Canada on the other hand has pledged to phase out coal use by 2030. It’s joining forces with the U.K. in a campaign being launched at this year’s UN Climate Conference in Bonn, Germany.
